Default INT and MP Gain

I've heard from time to time that your base INT affects the Max MP gained from each level up. Quite some time ago, I did a test with a LUKless I/L (4 LUK Base) and Normal LUK I/L (LUK = Level+3 Base), and the results showed no difference.

But, this was nearly a year ago, and I'm not sure if anything has changed since then from the patches we've had. Can anybody confirm if your Base INT affects Max MP after leveling up?

More specifically, http://www.sleepywood.net/forum/show...31&postcount=4

INT always had an impact on the max MP increase from my experience. It may seem less obvious from a glance with a +4int/level character versus a +5int/level character, but when both are leveled high enough, the +5int/level character will have more INT than the other. You didn't see the difference from your tests because the numbers 4 and 5 are close to each other that it takes a while to clearly see the gap when multiplied. Also, there's a small randomness involved in the calculation, so it's possible for a +4int/level to have the same or higher max mp value at a low level.

I have observed this when I made a magician with only 20 int. He only gains 45 int per level, and at level 30 he has about a 200 less mp than the average magician.

I have also kept track of my lukless magician character's mp gain per level, as you can see in the link above.

Lol, if it was 1int = 1mp, it would be outrageous and cool =D

*400 mp like every level*
Something like that =D

INT does affect it, although you may have to also take in the equips that the reg LUK magician is getting. Generally, LUKless magicians do have more MP than reg LUk magicians since they have more INT.

I took a general survey of howmuch MP LUKless and reg LUK mages had almost a year ago. LUKless mages generally had more mp.

There are other factors to add in, that perhaps equips and other things were part of it, but generally, that was the case.

Found the thread. Didn't really have that many examples, but it was enough for me:

Luck vs. Luckless: Int and MP

My LUKless priest friend, same level as I am, has around 250 more MP than I have.

I hear that more INT = more MP regain too?

I thought mp regain had something to do more towards your level.

Eh.

Nori from Bera proved that more int = more mp with her sin.
(She used int earrings -_-)

At lvl120, I had 600+ more mp than fellow lvl120 reg. luk mages and priests.

I'm lukless and never did any mp /hp wash, nor ap into mp.
