Default Blood F/P mage?

Don't think its been really brought up for discussing, but talked about in the MDT misting thread, and about the high level shark misting. Is this as viable as blood priests? since Misting with mg can be quite expensive for some users.

It's totally possible... I just don't think it's a very well thought-out plan. I mean, EVENTUALLY, there has to be new training grounds. What if, no matter how much HP you have, it's not enough to go Guardless ? You're going to have wasted all those points in HP, and be exponentially weaker than non-blood F/P's. I mean, from looking at 4th Job videos, the fastest training ISN'T using Mist anymore.

Well I mean 4th job is still a good way from GMS, and I don't think alot of f/p mages are grinding through to 4th job just yet. So why not work with what we have.

actually if ur a pure int-blood it actually sort of covers the ap added into hp, so its like a pure int blood f/p with the dmg of a normal mage mayb? im sure poison mist will make training faster even at the new maps, unless the monsters are immune to poison...

The difference of m atk of luckless and luck is at most 30.
The extra int is needed to make up for lack of m atk in weapon.

Well 3rd job is still a good 50 levels, and some may find it beneficial. Kind of like comparing first job skills or 2nd job skills to 3rd job. Why max it if it will be meaningless later on, its to help you train during the time. In this case, the additional hp may benefit f/p mages during training @ 3rd job.

spamming hp potion is more expensive than spamming elixir , so that will be pointless training at high lvl monster w/o mg

a freind of mine and i were kinda tossin this idea around. the plan was more to go hybrid-blood, and still use mg, but it would be safer, if you added some HP. We were actually gunna go with pure poison first (brace at 31, instead of FA) and then end up with a semi-normal build by 70...and then do a typical 3rd job build (mist first)

But for the AP, i figured one could go either luckless, or normal luck until lvl 60ish, where you have the luck for a EW, or just enough INT to hit DTs ok with brace, and beyond that, add HP for a good while. I guess a lukless build would be nice, since you would get more MP then too...but iunno.

I also dont have the heart to make another mage Dx
