Questions to ask urself before u're wanna go lukless

as many ppl know, the number "999" is the max number u can ever have for either str/dex/int/luk, 999 is based on ap + weapon/armor bonus, the only way to exceed 999 is by either potions or skills (i.e. meditation, bless, pies, iron will)

lukless is for players who like to beat a higher dmg than others that's among ur lvl, say if u're lucky enough to roll a 4 luk and 12 int(someone told me he saw 13 but rolled passed it, but let's just stick with 12 for now). here's what u'll end up with:

complete noob for life build, no scrolling involved:

999 max int - 12 base int = 987 int
987/5 = 197.4 lvls (198 then)

so, even if u'll NEVER scroll anything at all and just use a LV8 wand for life, after 198 lvls u're done, and 10 more AP, u decide where to add.

now, let's talk about the impossible...

4luk, 12int base start, 10% all the way and no failing on ALL following items:
sauna - 10% x 10 = 50int max
cape - 10% x 5 = 15int max
earring - 10% x 5 = 15int max + 25 bonus magic attack
zakum helmet - 10% x 10 + 17 base = 47 int
yellow wg - 2 int, no scrolling available
lama staff - 10% x 7 = 21int + 35 bonus magic attack

Total magic: 222
required int left: 777
levels needed to max magic: 156

with that too-early-to-dream collection of scrolled items, u'll have 220 AP left, again what will u do with that extra AP? into hp? mp? or...u'll regret being lukless, add them back into luk, wear better looking gears and sell ur items out?

Also, You mention level 19x. Even in mSEA and jMS, there very very few people who are 19x. Most gMS'ers will probably level as high as 11x, 12x or 13x before they slow down their leveling pace. Look at the lukless rankings. There's only 12 lukless mages who is 10x and over. I don't think they'll be worrying about having left over ap points.

dont slap urself next time, if u didnt think it's worth the time to discuss, why would u even bother to reply. if it's fun to talk about, dont make urself a fool by asking why do ppl talk about it cuz u're talking about it with us already. in fact, no one is taking it seriously even though u think so. this is called a discussion board and as long as it belongs to the right section, any user have their right to speak what's on their minds. we're here to..."discuss", not to tell ppl to "move on why bother to talk"

its possible for your INT to go beyond 999. i think the limit is now 1500. since a lv 17x mage has proven that she can achieve 1100+magic. which is only possible with more then 1000 int.

u'll need an ss to prove it, cuz all the mages that i ever trained with (of course, including myself and those that's higher lvl than me) are have a 999 maxed magic defense for quite some lvls (my case, i had it on 999 for 5 lvls), only with potions or skills can bring our stat beyond 999 (bless, banana pie). the one u saw is either with a skill boost or a potion/food usage (i.e. maxed 999 + 120 from banana pie). show us some ss if you still have one, since this is one of the most popular topic that mages talk about.

you can speark your mind when you're not disturbing other users' right to start a thread, i wouldn't tell other people to shut up and move on on their post which you've done so. i started the thread to discuss, not to read other people's post saying "you shouldn't even bother to start this", your first answer is no different from saying "you failed even before you started"

last question, is mapleSEA having a glitch? why is the character in a guild but not on the stat chart??
