After much consideration, I decided I'd help out the new non-hacking generation & maybe also the older
generation of Pure Pole Armers (PA in short).
I am part of a rare breed of Dragon Knight which is usually discriminated against because we are supposedly "Weak" or
"Weaker" than Hybrids or Spear DKs.
That's where those who discriminate against us are incorrect. And i shall explain why as i go through.
I'll highlight the different builds of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd jobs, and move into more depth on each one as I go along.
So let's get started...
Section 2.0: Defining a Pure Pole Arm Spearman/Dragon Knight
What's a Pure Pole Arm Spearman/Dragon Knight?
A Pure Pole Arm Spearman/Dragon Knight is a Spearman/Dragon Knight that maxes only Pole Arm Skills.
For example: Pole Arm Mastery, Pole Arm Booster, Pole Arm Fury, Pole Arm Crusher, Pole Arm Final Attack.
And pure pole arm spearmen/dk only put points into pole arm skills.
What if I have 1 Skill Point in Spear Mastery?
As long as you have more than 19 points in pole arm mastery and nothing more than lvl 1 spear mastery, then you are still
considered a pure pole armer.
What if i have 2 or more Skill Points in Spear Mastery?
Then you are either pure spear, or hybrid, and there wouldn't be much point in your continuing to strain your eyes on this
guide.
Where can i find a list of the top Pure Pole Armers on gMS?
You can find a list of the highest ranking pole arm users on gMS and even jMS & MSea
>>HERE<< at Mintrified's Pure Pole Armer Roll Call!
The rest of the more commonly asked questions shall be answered at the end of the guide.
Most people who go with this build end up not using their 2nd job sp on iron will, and instead use it on iron body.
Distribute sp in the same fashion as the first build except endure stays on 3 and iron body goes to 3.
Advantages of this build:
Raised defence even for only a limited period.
Extra spare sp at the end of 2nd job due to lack of iron will.
Disadvantages of this build:
No rope/ladder hp regeneration.
Disables level up of Iron Will skill in 2nd job.
Absorb more magic damage than an identical character with the first build.
Once you make the job advancement as a warrior, you'll be granted 1 sp to start with. This point goes into Improving HP
Recovery.
Now, some of you may ask, is defence such a big deal?
The answer to that question is "Yes & No".
This is because when you're starting out in the world (unfunded characters only), you want to get hit by monsters as little
as possible. And if the monsters did have to hit you, you would rather they did as little damage as possible.
This is the mindset of many people, and therefore choose the iron-body build and later live to regret it.
Don't regret your build, you can always reset the sp, it isn't such a big waste.
However, when you are higher level, defence will begin to no longer matter to you, because warriors have such high defence
anyway. Which is why it's more important to add to the mdef rather than the wdef. This is why the Iron Will build is
This build grants you additional weapon defence, but less magic defence. Although weapon defence becomes redundant post-level
70, you will gain extra sp by the end of 2nd job. 5 additional sp. You may put this into whatever you see fit, but i
recommend adding points to endure, and if necessary, to hp improvement.
After levelling to level 70, it is suggested you use the spare sp you receive on Endure.
Advantages of this build:
Extra spare sp at the end of 2nd job due to lack of iron will.
Increased HP with the assistance of Hyperbody.
Increased attack speed with the assistance of Pole Arm Booster.
Increased accuracy with the assistance of Pole Arm Mastery.
Disadvantages of this build:
Absorb more magic damage than an identical character with the first build.
Final Attack can slow down training, but it will also use less mp potions.
Final Attack becomes expendable during the 3rd job.
Iron Body isn't Maxed
As your start out into the world as a Spearman, you'll be granted 1 sp. You would be wise enough to put that point into Pole
Arm Mastery.
Make sure you only have pole arm mastery on level 19 instead of 20. Keep it on 19 until you have maxed all the other
important skills, then you may add the final point to max out mastery.
After you've become a Spearman, you'll be more worried about how fast you level than how much damage monsters do to you.
You'll start making money and you'll need to save it in order to purchase your higher level equipment.
Once again, my Dragon Knight's build was straightforward, I took a path I thought was simple, yet solid. There
are more than 2 builds for the Pure Pole Arm Dragon Knight.
Build 1 (Iron Will with no PA Crusher Build):
LvL 30 Pole Arm Fury
LvL 20 Dragon Blood
LvL 30 Sacrifice
LvL 30 Roar
LvL 20 Elemental Resistance
LvL 20 Power Crash
LvL 0 Pole Arm Crusher
LvL 0 Spear Crusher
LvL 0 Spear Fury
LvL 20 Pole Arm Mastery
LvL 30 Final Attack : Pole Arm
LvL 20 Pole Arm Booster
LvL 30 Hyper Body
LvL 20 Iron Will
LvL 0 Spear Mastery
LvL 0 Final Attack : Spear
LvL 0 Spear Booster
LvL 5 Improving HP Recovery
LvL 10 Improving Max HP Increase
LvL 20 Power Strike
LvL 20 Slash Blast
LvL 7 Endure
LvL 0 Iron Body
As you start level 70, and complete your 3rd job advancement, you'll be granted 1 sp, and 5 bonus ap. (AP distribution will
be discussed in the "Dex or Dexless?" section)
This build is the most common pure pole arm build. Maximising Attack and Mobbing. Power Crash however is used rarely.
Advantages of this build:
Increased attack (+12) with the assistance of Dragon Blood.
Excellent single-monster attack: Sacrifice.
Mobbing with high damage: Pole Arm Fury.
Multi-Platform mobbing with Roar.
Reduced Elemental Damage with the assistance of Elemental Resistance.
Debuff powered-up monsters/bosses with Power Crash.
Disadvantages of this build:
Pole Arm Fury does less TOTAL damage than a normal Spear Dragon Knight's Spear Crusher.
Sacrifice can take away a dangerous portion of HP.
Roar is rarely used and takes away a very dangerous portion of HP.
As you start level 70, and complete your 3rd job advancement, you'll be granted 1 sp, and 5 bonus ap. (AP distribution will

This build adds a secondary attack to the dragon knight's build. Pole Arm crusher. Although pole arm crusher wouldn't do as
much total damage as pole arm fury, it is more preferred to have max crusher than max roar, crash and resistance.
There are many alternatives to this build such as level 10 resist and level 20 roar.

Increased attack (+12) with the assistance of Dragon Blood.
Excellent single-monster attack: Sacrifice.
Mobbing with high damage: Pole Arm Fury.
Multi-Platform mobbing with Roar.

Extra secondary attack: Pole Arm Crusher
Disadvantages of this build:
Pole Arm Fury does less TOTAL damage than a normal Spear Dragon Knight's Spear Crusher.
Sacrifice can take away a dangerous portion of HP.
Roar is rarely used and takes away a very dangerous portion of HP.
Unable to debuff bosses and certain monsters with power ups.

A secondary attack isn't very important.
Life as a Pure Pole Arm Dragon Knight brings endless hours of fun. Although we are a very difficult breed to train, we
definitely have our advantages.
Priests can be very discriminating when it comes to training with a PA DK.
PLEASE NOTE: I DID NOT ASSIGN THE 3RD JOB SPARE SP THAT YOU GET AT THE END OF 120, YOU CAN ASSIGN THIS TO WHATEVER YOU
This is the only known build so far for a Dark Knight, I'm not exactly sure if anyone's actually written a
build for Dark Knights, hopefully this is the first and hopefully, everyone finds it quite useful.
There are going to be many updates to this section seeing as 4th job skillbooks need to be found/bought and actually used
like scrolls. Prices and rarity depend on server. For this section, I will list them in order of how to max skills up until
level 200. (So help me God). Do not forget that after making the advancement, you receive 3 extra sp. 1 of these points will
Achilles (1 Spare SP to save)(AT THIS POINT, YOU CAN EITHER MAX OUT BEHOLDER HEX OR YOU CAN START MAXING 2ND/3RD/1ST JOB
SKILLS)
As you start level 120, and complete your 4th job advancement, you'll be granted 3 sp, and 5 bonus ap. (AP distribution will
be discussed in the "Dex or Dexless?" section)
This build is the ONLY Dark Knight pure pole arm build.
You can also put beholder aura to 6 points, instead of 5, because there's a significant heal jump from 5 to 6 (100 hp to 160
hp).
Any further changes will be announced.
Section 7.0: Dex or Dexless?
Dex is a very important issue, especially with dragon knights who have to have it in their blood to duke it out
with a priest by their side.
Dexless warriors are defined as "Perfect". Sure they're perfect, but what do you have to go through to afford godly
dex equipment, and even then, would you have enough accuracy to hit high level monsters properly?
In this section, we'll discuss what you need to have dex, what you need to have no dex, and where to cap your dex.
For those who have never heard of the accuracy formula created by ?DREAM?, this is it. A simple mathematical equation that
shows you how much accuracy you need to hit a monster.
OGM Spoiler!
A = ( 55 + (2 x D) ) x ( E / 15 )
A = 100% hit AAccuracy
D = Monster level minus Your character's level. If this number is negative (meaning your character is higher level than the
monster, then use 0)
E = Avoidability of Monster.
Let's write up an example. Let's say you were a Level 55 warrior of any class you want, going to mushmom. You
want to know how much accuracy you need to hit mushmom 100%.
Here is our formulae. Write it like you wrote it in maths at school.
OGM Spoiler!
A = ( 55 + ( 2 x D ) ) x ( E / 15 )
A = ( 55 + ( 2 x 5 ) ) x (27 / 15)
A = ( 55 + 10 ) x 1.8
A = 65 x 1.8
Accuracy to hit Mushmom @ Level 55 = 117
Simple as that.
Section 7.1: Where do I cap my DEX?
This is a very important question. There are many factors that affect where you should cap your DEX.
This includes:
How much NX Cash you can afford.
Your priest avaliability.
How good your DEX equipment is.
Zakum Helmet.
1. NX Cash: You can have higher dex and then later on lower it with ap resets from the cash shop. You can lower it everytime
you upgrade your DEX equipment to better ones. The most important upgrade would be a Zakum Helmet.
2. Priest Avaliability: A priest with max bless will add 20 accuracy to your training. This is a very important part of being
a dexless or low dex dragon knight.
3. DEX Equipment: Most of your DEX will come from your overall, shoes, and zakum helmet, although these will come at a very
expensive price.
4. Zakum Helmet: The most coveted item in all of MapleStory. Adds not only dex, but str, int, luk, accuracy, avoid, and a lot
of wdef and mdef.
Most Dragon Knights cap their DEX in the low 60's to the low 100's. (60 - 110)
Section 7.2: DEXless Build
A DEXless build is defined as having less than 10 Base DEX. As mentioned before, it is very difficult to fund
and raise a DEXless warrior. You'll have to choose the correct training spots so you're able to hit the monsters properly.
A DEXless Warrior's stats would look like this:
Strength: 630
Dexterity: 10
Intelligence: 4
Luck: 4
The DEXless warrior does a lot more damage when it doesn't miss, the amount of damage it does in comparison to a dex warrior
is quite significant. This is very important in the levels after 100, where every point of str and dex count and are
essential.
Section 7.3: DEX Build
A DEX build is the most common build of Dragon Knight. The DEX is usually capped in the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's
even 100's.
Their ability to hit monsters is a lot better than DEXless or low-DEX warriors, but their total damage in a hit is
considerably lower especially noticable in the higher levels.
A DEX warriorr's stats would look like this:
Strength: 580
Dexterity: 60
Intelligence: 4
Luck: 4
The damage range for a DEX warrior would be considerably closer, although due to stab/slash, damage is still all over the
place until you start using 3rd job skills.
Section 8.0: Spear VS Pole Arm
OGM Spoiler!
Here is the way I see it, in a situation with identical level and equipment DKs of different status.
Character: Pure Spear Level: 120 Equipment: 110/6 Fairfrozen, 22 Dex Dark Battle Road, 10 Attack Gloves, 10 STR Cape, Zakum Helmet (Average), 7 Dex Red
Snowshoes. Skills of Choice: Spear Crusher Map Name: Hidden Street : Forbidden Time - Grim Phantom Watch Analysis: A pure spear dragon knight hits 3 monsters at a time, let's say this dragon knight did 5/5/5 damage on
average per crusher to 3 monsters at a time. If we threw this dragon knight into a mob of 6 grims on 1 small platform, he
would have to take down 3 of the grims before he could take down the other 3.
Character: Pure Pole Arm Level: 120 Equipment: 110/6 Hellslayer, 22 Dex Dark Battle Road, 10 Attack Gloves, 10 STR Cape, Zakum Helmet (Average), 7 Dex Red
Snowshoes. Skills of Choice: Pole Arm Fury Map Name: Hidden Street : Forbidden Time - Grim Phantom Watch Analysis: A pure pole arm dragon knight hits 6 monsters at a time, let's say his average damage was 8k per fury. If
you compare the two dragon knights, they would both kill the 6 grims at the same time, or the pole armer would kill them
faster.
Now, not only is the pole arm fury faster in general than spear crusher, but it's range is longer, hits more monsters, and
the knockback rate is a lot higher than crusher.
Therefore, we are not as weak as you think we are. In a boss ksing situation, a Pure Pole Armer would depend on Sacrifice to
deal 5 digit damage, which almost amounts to the same damage a spear crusher could do in 1 hit, and by the time crusher has
finished it's animation, the pure pole armer has already launched a second sacrifice and is throwing the weapon through the
air towards the monster.
True that the spear dk is more effective in a grims map than a pole arm dk. So move the scenario to Goby. After destroying a
Goby house, it can spawn up to 6 gobies. That is pure pole arm heaven right there. and if there aren't 6 spawned gobies,
there are always some bonefish to smack in the background.
There are some places that are biased towards spears and some towards poles. And this is why people make hybrids. But why
take the trouble of waiting to catch your breath and then switching to another weapon?
The trouble with being a pure pole arm dk is, you can only be a pure pole arm dk until after your 4th job skills are maxed.
Then you need to start putting your 4th job sp into 2nd 3rd and then 1st job skills.
In the end, there isn't such a thing as a hybrid.
Section 9.0: Training Locations
The training locations of a Pure Pole Arm Dragon Knight are essential to many factors of it's future.
This includes:
Experience
Money
Equipment
A Pole Armer's training spots are limited. In this section, we'll discuss and highlight the main training spots, and how it
affects finances and equipment.
Please note that I will only advise players to train in maps where the traffic is minimal, but the spawn is decent. I
encourage an alliance with another player to control spawn in another part of the map to maximise training speeds and spawn.
Therefore, I will advise future pole armers to stay away from henesys hunting grounds.
Where can a Pure Pole Armer Solo?
A PA DK starts soloing past level 70. From level 70 - level 80, a pure pole arm is still quite alone. Places such as zombies,
yetis, and yeti & pepe are good places to solo.
At level 80 - 90, you'll be more dependent on priests. Gobies is a perfect place for an 8x pa dk to train, however, you will
miss a little bit, and you'll be very dependent on your party for exp. Ghost Pirates (omega spear inflation ftw!) are a great
place to solo, they require about 3k to be knockbacked, and by the time you start your solo training at ghost pirates, you'll
be dealing 3 - 6k damage per fury. At level 90 onwards, solo training will pretty much stay at dual pirates, vikings, gobies,
and squids.
I have recently [i](updated 20th January, 11:09am)[/[i] added Cold Cradle & Drake's Nest to the 70 - 80 & 80 - 90 training
grounds. I suggest training at Drake's Nest from 75 - to maybe 80. Cold Cradle is only for Pure PAs who have at least 130%
constant moving speed. Working the map in a clockwise/counter-clock direction works well.
Also added is "Hidden Street : Iron Boar Land". What can I say? The spawn is intense! EXP will be quite nice from 50 - 55 or
so.
Where does a Pure Pole Armer Priest-Train?
Post-Level 80, the Pure PA DK usually joins forces with a priest to take on monsters. Such places which would make good
experience from 80 - 90 would be Death Teddies, Master Death Teddies, Squids & Gobies.
After level 90, a solo pa dk would usually stay at vikings, duals, and gobies.
Where can i find a Priest to Train with?
This is the toughest part of your training, actually finding a priest. So here's my suggestion, make friends with priests,
have your friends introduce you to some priests, or get your buddy list to help you out, or even start a DK & Priest guild.
If you don't want to do any of those, >>Click Here<< and
make a post for a priest.
Also try looking in the free markets, try and stay away from channel 1 unless you're in ludi town. Priests gather there
sometimes looking for DKs.
Advice: Walk around with an omega spear/fairfrozen and don't switch to the pole arm until you get to the training location.
It would be rude for the priest to walk out on you because you're a pole armer. If this does happen, and you're on scania,
you can always come running to us for a solution.
Solution: KS War
A last resort to priest hunting would be super megaphoning. Refrain from using megaphones to find priests. There are hundreds
of priests, you just have to know where to look.
Section 9.1: Training Locations : 1st Job
First Job Swordsmen (spearmen prodigies) training spots are very limited. As the only class to take little
damage from the monsters around it's level, Swordsmen usually show up in many places.
The following is a list of training locations for the appropriate level swordsman.
Level 10 - 20: Truthfully, any monster that gives off more than 8 exp, and spawns in masses. For example, slimes, stumps,
orange mushrooms.
Victoria Road: The Tree That Grew
Victoria Road: Dungeon, Southern Forest I
Victoria Road: Perion Street Corner
Hidden Street: East Rocky Mountain II
Victoria Road: Kerning City Construction Site
Victoria Road: Hill East of Henesys
Victoria Road: Rain-Forest East of Henesys
Hidden Street: Mushroom Garden
Hidden Street: The Pig Beach
Level 20 - 30: You'll either be at Pig Beach, or killing green & horned mushrooms for level 20 - 30 in the Ant Tunnels or
Ellinia Tree Dungeons. A decent alternative is axe stumps and dark axe stumps and also slimes.
Victoria Road: Dungeon, Southern Forest Iv
Victoria Road: Dungeon, Southern Forest III
Victoria Road: West Street Corner of Perion
Hidden Street: East Rocky Mountain III
Victoria Road: Rain-Forest East of Henesys
Hidden Street: The Pig Beach
Dungeon: Ant Tunnel I
Dungeon: Ant Tunnel II
Dungeon: Damp Forest (BEWARE OF JR. NECKIS!)
Orbis: Orbis Tower <20th floor>
Orbis: Orbis Tower <19th floor>
Section 9.2: Training Locations : 2nd Job
Second Job Spearmen train in usually the same spot for many levels. You'll be getting rid of your low level
weapons and getting to hold your pole arms, starting with the Mithril Pole Arm. Although i recommend using a 100% scrolled
2-Handed Axe until level 35 because of it's speed. (2-Handed Axe is Level 25).
The following is a list of training locations for the appropriate level spearman.
Recently added [i](
Level 30 - 40: Here, we continue to train on monsters that spawn quickly and these monsters begin to give off more exp. For

Section 9.3: Training Locations : 3rd Job
Congratulations to those who make it to this point. Becoming a Dragon Knight can be pretty exciting. And if
you're a pure pole armer, it's just about to get more exciting. Assign that 1st sp to Dragon Fury, and head to zombies, for a
few more levels for powerstriking and slash blasting and the occasional dragon fury.
You may abandon Victoria Island for good now, and head to either El Nath or Ludibrium for your major, high experience
training, or stay behind and train at the only place left to train, Mix Gollems.
Don't forget you'll need to start making some priest friends soon.
The following is a list of training locations for the appropriate level dragon knight.
Level 70 - 80: Finally a Dragon Knight. New Dragon Knights will have more fun showing off their powers rather than taking the
time to train with them. You may have to stick to zombies, or mix gollems, or you can take a priest to such places as Death
Teddies or solo at Yetis.

training area. However, with priests advancing to bishops, they'll be training on their own. So get yourself a 100-110 priest
and head to the dragon nests. Himes is still a good place to train, so don't neglect it.

Section 10.0: Pole Arms - What to Use?
Many of you might ask, does the weapon's speed affect the Pole Armer's training?
The answer to that is quite simple. YES!
Take me for example, my main weapon is a 112 Attack 6 STR Hellslayer with a Slow (8) speed rating. But some of you may see me
training with an Eclipse. People ask me, "Why do you train with an Eclipse when your hellslayers are the best on
Scania?"
The answer to that is also simple, the Eclipse is rated Slow (7). 1 point faster than the Hellslayer, to you people who have
never used a hellslayer before, the Eclipse is unusually faster than the hellslayer. And when I train, it makes all the
difference in the world.
So now, I'll list the pole arms I'd suggest you to use during your life as a Pole Arm Spearman/Dragon Knight.
Level 10 - 20: Metal Axe (LvL 10 2-Handed Axe) & Iron Axe (LvL 15 2-Handed Axe) & Aqua Snowboard
Now, I've put these in order of speed. This is why the snowboards will be in front. Please note that snowboards do have a
lower base attack than the normal pole arms which have a slower speed. With some lucky scrolling, you could avoid using
normal pole arms at all until level 80+.
You'll notice I used 2-Handed Axes during levels 10 - 30. This is because there is no mastery yet, and I prefer good weapon
speeds and decent attack to high attack-low speed weapons. When you are beginning as a Swordsman, it is highly unwise to use
pole arms/spears. Not only does the Slash/Stab factor come into play, but the range is a lot higher. Therefore, I suggest
using 2-Handed Axes which have a higher base attack than 2-Handed Swords & 2-Handed Blunt Weapons, but have the exact same
amount of weapon speed.
My logic for using those axes is quite easily understood.
Also, the Maple Scorpio, is a great weapon, if you can afford one. It comes with an average of +30 Accuracy, a little bit of
Strength already, plus the base attack is quite decent.
Also, I don't recommend upgrading to godly equipments until after you're level 90 when you start getting high-priced
drops and you can afford the scrolls and items or prescrolled items with good upgrades.
Section 11.0: Make it Interesting!
This statement refers mostly to post-level 100 training.
For those of you who are still below level 70, honestly, if you are struggling to level, don't whine to me and say "I
can't level because I have a life." Do you know what I'd say to that? I'd say "If you had a life, you wouldn't be on
the forums whining to me about having a life and therefore, you're unable to train."
This is what you do then, find yourself a pure pole armer who's levelled past 110 at least, idolise the person, and if you
can't get enough hints and tips from here, ask them for some advice. Get some motivation. Hope to be on the PA Roll Call one
day.
Training becomes worse, at level 120, you'll need around 30,000,000 exp to level. Usually, you'll be gaining a lot of
experience from bosses such as zakum, papulatus, and pianus. But it's still not enough to to get you more than 10%.
You'll be stuck at 1 set of monsters after 100. It'll be Grims and Gobies.
Having a Goby party with 4 other Pole Armers and a Priest is as much fun as it gets. You all use the same skill, you're all
friends, you're all alike, causing as much havoc as you can in the map.
When i party with Nat (Mintrified), Alan (DarkHero22), Mike (Mikka), and Nat's Priest Hubby Alan (djtofu), it doesn't get
much more fun than that. People walk into our map, and they say: "Damn, all pole armers!"
It makes you proud to be a pole armer.
Using Roar to gather mobs on not only the platform you're on but other platforms is great. However, the pot usage does rise,
because you'll usually need to heal after 2 roars. But when you move to another platform, a mob is already ready for you to
fury.
So make it interesting, chat to your buddies or guild while you train, 90% training, 10% socialising.
Get a guild of pole armers and priests together and train.
You know what, even cyber with a G.I.R.L. Whatever gets you going. Just try your best not to fall asleep on your
keyboard.
Section 12.0: Conclusion
I highly encourage people to make more pure pole arm dragon knights, although we are a special and rare breed,
we are not weak, we have our advantages. We are the masters of the mob. Great KSers.
I'd like to thank the Pure Pole Arm community for supporting me and helping me through my pole arm career. No I'm not
quitting. I'm just thankful for the people around me.
Special thanks go out to Natalie (Mintrified). I've always looked up to her, and even though I've overtaken her level a
couple of times pre-lvl 120, she is still my idol and my beacon of hope.
I'd also like to ask members of our Pole Arm community and members of the general public to please feel free to make
suggestions for this thread. Maybe something I might be able to add.
I'd also like to mention that I did include pictures in the original format of the post, however, I was lacking knowledge and
didn't know that there was a limit of images that could be posted.
So I'll make updates often and add custom-made images to the thread to make it more colorful and less insinuating to the
eyes.
PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK QUESTIONS. I shall do my best to answer them.
Section 13.0: Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some questions I as a pure pole armer have experienced in my PA Career.
Why are you using an Eclipse/Hellslayer instead of an Omega Spear/Fairfrozen?
Because I'm a pure pole arm dragon knight. I don't specialize in spears.
Can you show me Crusher/Buster then?
My build doesn't use Crusher/Buster. Go ask a Dragon Knight holding a spear.
Is being a Pole Armer Cheaper than being a Spear user?
Yes. Pole Arms & it's scrolls are in less demand than Spears.
Why are you over level 120 but you're still a Dragon Knight?
Because there is no 4th Job yet, therefore, I cannot become a Dark Knight.
Where can I get an Eviscerator?
Eviscerators aren't released. They are supposedly GM-only weapons. And if they were released, you probably wouldn't be able
to afford it.
What are the Level 100 & 110 Pole Arms?
According to Hidden-Street.net, the Zedbug , and
the Dragon Chelbird .
What do the Level 100 & 110 Pole Arms look like on characters?
They look like this:
OGM Spoiler!
How come you don't hit 3 times?
Because I don't use Crusher, I use Fury/Sacrifice.
What does Unholy's Damage Range/Accuracy/STR/DEX look like?
A lot of people have asked this question. I'll answer it in 1 screenshot of my character.
I thought this image would reveal a lot about my character that I didn't want revealed, but it's educational.
Why does my Hellslayer feel so much more slower than my Eclipse?
Because the Hellslayer's speed rating (according to Sauna.Gibbed.us) is 1 point
slower than the eclipse. The eclipse's speed rating is Slow (7), whereas the hellslayer is Slow (8).
This speed makes all the difference in the world, although sometimes it may not feel like it, you are better off using a
higher attack eclipse than a hellslayer, unless your hellslayer is godly.
Would you rather be a Spear or Hybrid Dragon Knight?
Hell NO!
Can you please give me the link to the Pure Pole Arm Roll Call again please?
A lot of people have messaged me and requested I post some of the 4th job skills. All I can say for sure is
that these skills following may not be implemented on gMS.

Section 15.0: Credits
OGM Spoiler!
All training-wise, skill point, ability point, and FAQ information included in this guide
was extracted from Unholy's brain. Acheived through experience over 2 and a half years of being a Pure Pole Armer.
I should note, as a Pure Spear, that I maxed out Endure and HP Recovery with my spare points. You can afford to generalise the IW/IB a lot more to save a bit of space =P.
You might want to add which places are worth training with a Priest or not - because there are some places where Pure PAs can train solo (such at Gobys or Ghost Pirates/Duals)
Here is the way I see it, in a situation with identical level and equipment DKs of different status.
Character: Pure Spear
Level: 120
Equipment: 110/6 Fairfrozen, 22 Dex Dark Battle Road, 10 Attack Gloves, 10 STR Cape, Zakum Helmet (Average), 7 Dex Red Snowshoes.
Skills of Choice: Spear Crusher
Map Name: Hidden Street : Forbidden Time - Grim Phantom Watch
Analysis: A pure spear dragon knight hits 3 monsters at a time, let's say this dragon knight did 5/5/5 damage on average per crusher to 3 monsters at a time. If we threw this dragon knight into a mob of 6 grims on 1 small platform, he would have to take down 3 of the grims before he could take down the other 3.
Character: Pure Pole Arm
Level: 120
Equipment: 110/6 Hellslayer, 22 Dex Dark Battle Road, 10 Attack Gloves, 10 STR Cape, Zakum Helmet (Average), 7 Dex Red Snowshoes.
Skills of Choice: Pole Arm Fury
Map Name: Hidden Street : Forbidden Time - Grim Phantom Watch
Analysis: A pure pole arm dragon knight hits 6 monsters at a time, let's say his average damage was 8k per fury. If you compare the two dragon knights, they would both kill the 6 grims at the same time, or the pole armer would kill them faster.
Now, not only is the pole arm fury faster in general that spear crusher, but it's range is longer, hits more monsters, and the knockback rate is a lot higher than crusher.
Therefore, we are not as weak as you think we are. In a boss ksing situation, a Pure Pole Armer would depend on Sacrifice to deal 5 digit damage, which almost amounts to the same damage a spear crusher could do in 1 hit, and by the time crusher has finished it's animation, the pure pole armer has already launched a second sacrifice and is throwing the weapon through the air towards the monster.
You more or less DEPEND on those 6 grims IN RANGE, which is usually once in a blue moon unless you're on the bottom. Most off the kills for a dragon-knight at earlier levels is on the top, as either a hermit, wk, priest or sader go bottom. At later levels, a dk would go grims at BOTTOM with a priest, HOWEVER, the spear dk and priest would kill much faster than a PA dk and a priest who mobs, mainly because of two things: It takes time for a dk to mob all those monsters, and while you're doing that, the other attackers on the other platforms must wait for spawn, which makes experience much worse than with a spear dk.
nicely done =D someone should stick it
and if the super snowboard thing comes the GMS, or u are on Sea, man.. PA will own. 85att, fast speed, pole arm =O
Nice going Paul. Just a couple of mistakes in typing.
-Section 8.3~ the description isn't with a nine dragons lol :P
and yeah i would suggest yu color code the skills separately and putting in all of the skills so people will know where the other 3 or 4 points went to
~pure pole armer here, hit me up if yu need any hints too, mostly on when paul's off since we're in ALMOST opposite time frames
here also, i would add some maps to the training area, around 30-50 you could find the horseman hidden-street map and train in there for all day without anybody bothering you since it's a secluded place in the toy factory
tha's all i can think of now ;] g'lucks all new padks
