Would maxing vampire first off be good if i plan to level mostly from CPQ?

Been reading some stickys, and people seem to say that after vamp can hit a certain amount of enemies, putting points in claw mastery helps the damage more then points into vampire itself, confirm/deny anyone?

Vampire absolutely fails without crit. If you didn't get crit first, you should.

Im being carried through cpq by some higher levels, i found having 1 point in vamp helps alot, just because i get hits on all the mobs, and get more experience, but im leveling crit first
